The only person who knows the story behind this house called “Goonu Banana House” is probably the owner but it cannot be told because he is dead…
The foundation of the house was allegedly laid with the blood of a little girl who sells banana in Onitsha..
Tenants who parked into the house after the owner had finished the building were scared to death every night because they kept hearing the shout of “goonu banana” coming from beneath the building ,including other strange things happening in the house!
One after the other all tenants parked out except the landlord.
Till date this house has remained empty and the landlord dead.
