President Tinubu to depart Nigeria for Senegal

President Bola Tinubu will depart Abuja on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, for Dakar, Senegal, to attend the inauguration of Senegal’s President-elect, Bassirou Diomaye Faye.

The President’s journey is on the invitation of the Republic of Senegal. An announcement launched by presidential spokesperson, Ajuri Ngelale, says President Tinubu, who’s the Chairman of ECOWAS Authority of Heads of State and Authorities, will be part of different regional leaders to witness the inauguration at Diamniadio Exhibition Centre on Tuesday.

The President might be accompanied on the journey by the Minister of International Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Maitama Tuggar, and different senior authorities officers.

The President is predicted to return to Nigeria after the conclusion of the inauguration.
