A suspected gay, Chigozie Okpara, has been arrested for allegedly having carnal data of an underage boy in Okujagu neighborhood in Trans-Amadi, Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
The suspect was apprehended by members of an area vigilante group on Sunday night time, March 31, 2024, for allegedly having carnal data of an underage boy.

The spokesperson of the state police command, SP Grace Iringe-Koko, who confirmed the incident on Monday, mentioned the suspect, who’s already in custody, could be prosecuted.
“Sure, I can affirm the incident. The suspect has been arrested and is presently in our custody. Investigation is ongoing. The matter has been transferred to the State Felony and Intelligence Division. We are going to make sure that the suspect is prosecuted,” the PPRO mentioned.
