The club made the announcement on Friday via its social media platforms.

“Nigerian Eagle William Troost-Ekong is officially a player of Saudi Club Al-Kholood in the 2024-2025 Roshen League competition,” the statement read.

Troost-Ekong joins Al-Khood from Greek side PAOK Salonika, signing a contract that will keep him at the club until June 2025.

The 30-year-old defender played a pivotal role in PAOK’s triumph in the Greek Super League last season, his only campaign with the club.

The center-back becomes Al-Kholood’s sixth signing of the summer, joining the club alongside Congolese striker Jackson Muleka.

Al-Kholood earned promotion to the Saudi Professional League last season and is looking to strengthen its squad ahead of the upcoming campaign.
