Ademola Lookman: Atalanta star returns to training after failed PSG move

Atalanta winger Ademola Lookman has returned to training following his failed transfer move to Paris Saint-Germain.

Lookman was a target for PSG, who lost Goncalos Ramos to a long-term injury, but the French side failed to meet Atalanta’s asking price.

The forward was left out of Atalanta’s first Serie A match against Lecce due to speculations linking him to the French side.

However, he has been welcomed back to the team after PSG failed to agree on a deal with Atalanta for the forward.

According to Tutto Atalanta, Lookman, who had been a vital member of Atalanta, resumed training after several days of doubt over his future.

After his failed move, he has once again made himself available for selection by Atalanta coach Gian Piero Gasperini and it appears that interest from the French giants has diminished.

According to earlier reports, Lookman’s representatives met with Atalanta, who then reportedly tried to resolve the issues amicably by trying to offer the players new contracts and raises in pay.

According to reports, the London giants plan to test Atalanta’s fortitude by proposing €50 million plus defender Jakub Kiwior.
